What’s in the Nutter Butter Halloween Bat Cookies?
- 1- bag Wilton lavender/purple Candy Melts
- 24- black Wilton Candy Melts
- 12 – pair candy eyes
- 12 – Nutter Butter Cookies
- 24 chocolate chips
How to Make the Bat Cookies?
First, empty the bag of purple candy melts into a glass bowl. Next, melt the chocolate according to the directions on the bag.
Second, dip each cookie one at the time, into the chocolate. Place the cookies on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Third, quickly, add the eyes before the chocolate dries.
Fourth, attach two chocolate chips (ears) on top of each cookie using a small dab of the candy melt.
Fifth, make the bat wings using the black candy melts. Use a frosting tip (bottom side down) and cut out and discard a circle from the candy melt, forming the bat wing.
Next, attach the bat wing to each side of the cookies with purple candy melt.
Last, melt a 1/2 cup of black chocolate candy melts and place into a squeeze bottle or frosting bag. Draw a mouth on each cookie. That’s it. Wasn’t that easy?
