Visiting Disney World can be magical for all ages. Everyone looks forward to MEETING CHARACTERS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD from their most memorable Disney movies. Characters are spread throughout all the parks, but sometimes it can be difficult to get autographs and pictures when there are long lines of people. If you want to guarantee a meeting with your favorite characters; then I recommend purchasing a Fast Pass. Then scheduling your meet and greet before your vacation begins. You also can reserve a seat at one of the Disney’s restaurants that offer Character Dining. If you are trying to track down your favorite characters I have made it a little easier with a list of where you can spot some of them within each park.
Magic Kingdom
As you enter the Magic Kingdom park, you will walk right into the town square. Town Square is a great spot to watch out for some of your favorite characters, like Pluto, and get a couple of photos along with a great big hug. As you travel down Main Street, you may spot the new Town Square Theatre where you will have a chance to meet with Mickey Mouse himself along with Tinker Bell. Pass through the Magic Kingdom castle into Fantasy Land where you can meet characters such as Alice, Ariel, Merida, Gaston, Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and many more.
While exploring Fantasy Land, you may notice a significant circus tent where Pete’s Silly Sideshow is performed. At the show you can choose between two lines, where you can receive autographs, and visit with Daisy, Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck. The Magic Kingdom also has Adventureland where you can meet with Aladdin and Jasmine. If you’re traveling through Tomorrowland, be on the look-out, for a photo opportunity with Buzz Lightyear.
Epcot
This park is one of my favorites because you are transported to places all around the world. While there, get out a map and search for some of your favorite characters. Located between Mexico and Norway is the Royal Sommerhus where you can meet your favorite princess sisters Elsa and Anna. While in France visit with Princess Belle. In China meet with Mulan. Snow White can be seen in Germany and Princess Jasmine in Morocco. Epcot also features Future Land where you can meet characters from the film Inside Out and also Baymax from Big Hero 6.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
If you are a Toy Story fan, then this is the year to check out the opening of Toy Story Land! Starting in the summer of 2018 you will have the chance to visit with all your favorite Toy Story characters and enjoy some incredible rides. Hollywood Studios also features Disney Junior Stars at the Animation Courtyard where your youngsters can meet Princess Sophia, Doc McStuffin, and Captain Jake. At the Star Wars Launch Bay, you can hang out with your favorite characters Chewbacca and BB-8 or confront the villain Kylo Ren.
Animal Kingdom
This park is the home to characters from the Jungle Book such as Baloo and King Louie. You can also meet your favorite forest princess Pocahontas or Rafiki from The Lion King. If you loved the film Up, then you might want to find some time to hang out with Russell at Discovery Island.
There is so much to discover at Disney World. Enjoy your adventure and find time to meet with some of your favorite characters, they are waiting to meet you.
